By accessing or using MailChrono (the "Service"), operated by MailChrono Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

MailChrono is an email aggregation service that allows you to:

• Connect multiple Gmail and Microsoft email accounts
• View emails from all connected accounts in a unified, chronological interface
• Export email threads to PDF format (Pro plan)
• Collaborate with team members through workspaces

The Service provides read-only access to your email accounts. We do not modify, send, or delete your emails.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using your Google or Microsoft account credentials through OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Email Account Authorization

By connecting your email accounts, you:

• Authorize us to access your email using OAuth 2.0
• Confirm you have the right to grant such access
• Understand we will only have read-only access
• Can revoke access at any time through your account settings

5. Free and Paid Plans

5.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes:

• Up to 2 connected email accounts
• 100 thread views per day
• 1 workspace member

5.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan ($10/month) includes:

• Unlimited connected email accounts
• Unlimited thread views
• Up to 10 workspace members
• PDF export functionality
• Priority support

6. Payment Terms

• Pro plan is billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle
• Payments are charged at the beginning of each billing period
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our 30-day money-back guarantee
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new Pro plan subscribers. If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of your initial subscription, contact us for a full refund. This guarantee applies only to your first subscription period.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to violate any third party's rights
• Connect email accounts you don't have authorization to access

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MailChrono Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your email content remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and display your emails solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the security of the Service
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAILCHRONO INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data breaches
• Any damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MailChrono Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party rights

14. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change features, functionality, or pricing
• Impose limits on certain features or access

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended periods of inactivity

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through:

1. Good faith negotiation between the parties
2. Mediation by a mutually agreed mediator
3. Binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association

You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against us.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MailChrono Inc. regarding the Service.

20. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending an email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
